500 games for Footscray Hockey Club marks Sue Papadakis’ 24th season for the club. She has played 45 junior games, 417 senior games and 38 Vets games. The 500th game being played last Monday Night, 12th July at FHC for our ladies Vet’s B side. The team came away from the game with a 1 – 0 loss, however the 9th placed Footscray team were jubilated considering the 3rd placed Essendon side beat them 8 – 0 in the first round. The team celebrated afterwards with a spread of delicious food and it was rumored a glass of bubbly could be spotted!
